Hawaii Girl Takes on Pike Place in Seattle

Hawaii Girl Takes on Pike Place in Seattle

Hey guys, welcome back to the blog. I went to Seattle a few months ago and took pictures of some things I did at Pike Place that you might be interested in as well.

1. Pike Place Lookout

I took at trip to Seattle in the Summer, so the skies were VERY BLUE and clear. What a contrast to what it normally looks like the rest of the year. This is my favorite place to sit down and eat because you get to enjoy the view. There are some picnic benches with umbrellas, but it can get really packed towards the middle of the day. So if you're lucky enough to snag one of the seats, ENJOY THE VIEW.

2. MARNINSAYLOR

YOU GUYS, you guys, you guys. I cannot stress enough HOW CUTE this shop is. If you like all things, plush, pink, and adorable, this is a MUST VISIT. Marninsaylor makes hand sewn pastry plushies, complete with a display case to choose your new pastry. I've been here a few times now, and I always end up leaving with a new pastry pal.

They also have cute apparel, my boyfriend picked up some tea leaves, and did I mention how CUTE everything is?

Pro tip: If you're looking to get a pastry plush, come EARLY. If you come later in the day, selection is limited or they're completely SOLD OUT. You can see in the pictures that there are only a few left...

3. Cinnamon Works

If you like cookies, I would recommend this place because they sell GIGANTIC cookies weighing HALF A POUND. Look at this one, it's pretty much the size of my face. They have regular cookies, gluten free cookies, and VEGAN cookies so there's something for everyone.

4. FLOWERS

All Across the marketplace, you will find rows and rows of vendors selling flowers. Choose from an ASSORTMENT of bouquets from different vendors to match your personal taste. Who doesn't love flowers? Even if you're just visiting for a trip, it's something nice to brighten up your day.

If you come during winter time, don't expect much flowers available..

5. Hellenika Cultured Creamery

If you're lactose intolerant, maybe this place IS NOT for you. However, if you can tolerate some dairy then I would recommend stopping by at Hellenika for some cultured creamery delights inspired by the flavors of Greece.

6. Le Panier

Another classic stop at Pike Place Market if you love baked goods. It's a classic french bakery with an assortment of different items for everyone. I personally love their A la framboise (croissant filled with raspberry preserves) and their eclairs. However, THERE ARE A BUNCH of other options available as you can see in the display case. Highly recommend!

Well, that's all the adventuring I have for today. Thought I'd keep it short and sweet for you guys. Catch you at the next adventure!
